Description
It is a prostrate, spreading, annual herb. Stems are somewhat fleshy, 30 centimeters or more in length, branched, rooting at the lower nodes, and somewhat hairy. Leaves sessile, 2.5 to 7.5 cm long, linear-oblong, acute or obtuse, entire or subcrenate. Heads axillary and terminal, sessile, flowers white. Flowers are white or greenish-white.
Fruits are achenes enclosed by rigid receptacle-scales. It is cooked with fish curry and taken to revive appetite after long weakness due to fever or typhoid.Plant Specifications
